The Eastern Province Jurisdictional Sustainable Landscape Programme (EP-JSLP) Radio Programme on Kwenje FM Radio in Chama District featured the District Forest Officer Mr. Titus Kabonso, who engaged listeners on the importance of forest management, conservation and sustainable use of forest resources.
The discussion highlighted how responsible forest management can help protect the environment, strengthen climate resilience and support sustainable community livelihoods.
The programme also provided an opportunity to raise awareness among farmers and communities on the need to conserve forests and natural resources for both present and future generations.
