Energy Data Collection exercise in Kasenengwa
Today, the provincial MRV team conducted field monitoring at Mangena Primary School in Mtaya Agricultural Camp, Kasenengwa District, where they observed the implementation of the cold season energy data collection.
The team commended the school’s sustainable use of twigs and woodlots in preparing meals for the school feeding programme, demonstrating practical, climate-smart energy solutions that support both environmental conservation and community well-being.
Accurate field data collected through the strengthened MRV system will enhance emissions reporting, support results-based climate action, and contribute to sustainable landscape management and improved livelihoods across Eastern Province.
Every data point collected brings Zambia one step closer to a more resilient and sustainable future.
