EP-JSLP Promotes Clean Energy and Forest Conservation in Kagunda
The Eastern Province Jurisdictional Sustainable Landscape Programme (EP-JSLP), led by Principal Forest Officer Catherine Zulu, is conducting a Hot Season Energy Data Collection exercise in the Kagunda area households of Chipata District from October to November 2026.
The exercise targets households, lodges, schools, restaurants and other public places to monitor energy use, strengthen the programme’s Monitoring, Reporting and Verification (MRV) system, and support efforts to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
Through these initiatives, EP-JSLP continues to promote clean energy, agroforestry and sustainable forest management for a greener and more sustainable future.
