CLIMATE-SMART AGRICULTURE: A KEY TO RESILIENT FARMING IN DROUGHT-PRONE NYIMBA

The Eastern Province Jurisdictional Sustainable Landscape Programme (EP-JSLP) radio programme on Explorers Radio in Nyimba District featured Ministry of Agriculture officials discussing the importance of Climate-Smart Agriculture (CSA) in strengthening farmers’ resilience to drought and other climate-related challenges.
District Agricultural Coordinator for Nyimba, Mr. Mwaaba Lubasi, and Crops Officer Mr. P.J. Banda, explained how farmers can integrate CSA practices into their farming activities to improve productivity, protect natural resources and build resilience in drought-prone areas.
