Climate-Smart Farming Takes Root in Eastern Province

Climate-Smart Agriculture-CSA signage installation is progressing well across the Eastern Province under the Eastern Province Jurisdictional Sustainable Landscape Programme-EP-JSLP.

Led by the Ministry of Green Economy and Environment my and Environment through the Ministry of Agriculture, the initiative focuses on promoting CSA practices by providing clear, visible, and practical information to farmers.

Posters are being installed at Farmer Field Schools-FFS, demonstration plots, and key community locations to improve awareness, reinforce training messages, and support the adoption of climate-smart farming practices.

With support from the World Bank, EP-JSLP continues to strengthen sustainable and climate-resilient agriculture in the Eastern Province.

The objective is to Promote Climate-Smart Agriculture through the installation of CSA signage at high-visibility locations.
