Deputy Permanent Secretary Tours Ministry of Green Economy Exhibition Stand at Eastern Province Agricultural Show
Eastern Province Deputy Permanent Secretary Dr. Lewis Mwape, accompanied by officials from the Agricultural and Commercial Show Society and other senior Government officials, toured the Ministry of Green Economy and Environment exhibition stand during the 48th Eastern Province Agricultural and Commercial Show.
The delegation visited displays by the Forest Department and the Eastern Province Jurisdictional Sustainable Landscape Programme (EP-JSLP), where they received updates on ongoing efforts to promote sustainable land management, environmental conservation, climate resilience, and improved livelihoods across the province.
The tour highlighted the Government’s commitment to advancing sustainable development through partnerships that support environmental protection, agricultural productivity, and community empowerment.
