Eastern province leaders hold stakeholder briefing on forest management in Lundazi

Today, the Eastern Province Permanent Secretary, Mr. Paul Thole, and his team held a briefing in Lundazi with the Director of Forestry from the Ministry of Green Economy and Environment, Dr. Freddie Siangulube, Assistant Secretary Mr. Clement Chilembo, the Lundazi District Commissioner, Ms. Majory Mupashya Banda, and other officers from various government institutions and private organizations.

The meeting was convened to deliberate on the management, restoration, and protection of the Lundazi National Forest and other protected areas under the Eastern Province Jurisdictional Sustainable Landscape Programme-EP-JSLP Emission Reduction Project.
