The Eastern Province Jurisdictional Sustainable Landscape Programme (EP-JSLP) supported radio programmes on Explorers Radio explored this question, with Nyimba District Forest Officer Mr. Mwangelwa Wasilota and Ministry of Agriculture Extension Methodology Officer Mr. Bwalya Malama explaining the importance of integrating agroforestry into Climate-Smart Agriculture (CSA).
The officers highlighted how integrating trees into farming systems can contribute to sustainability, improved resilience and better management of natural resources, helping farmers adapt to climate challenges.
