Restoring Landscapes, Empowering Communities
Restoration planting is underway with the Chiswa Community Forest Management Group-CFMG in Katete District, under the Eastern Province Jurisdictional Sustainable Landscape Programme-EP-JSLP.
The activity is being implemented by the District Forestry Office under the Ministry of Green Economy and Environment, with support from the World Bank.
The initiative focuses on restoring degraded forest landscapes while strengthening community-led forest management and promoting sustainable livelihoods.
