Scaling Up Climate Smart Agriculture in Vubwi District
At Mbande Agriculture Camp in Vubwi District, one dedicated farmer practicing Climate Smart Agriculture-CSA is stepping forward to share knowledge and improved farming technologies with fellow farmers across the district.
During a field visit, the Eastern Province Jurisdictional Sustainable Landscape Programme-EP-JSLP Monitoring Team from the Project Implementation Unit-PIU engaged with the farmer, who is demonstrating serious commitment to CSA implementation with 18 hectares of soya beans and 7 hectares of maize currently under cultivation.
The interaction highlighted the growing potential for peer learning and farmer-to-farmer knowledge sharing as a key driver for increased CSA adoption and sustainable agricultural growth in the district.
