Showcasing Zambia’s Forest Wealth at the 60th Zambia International Trade Fair!
The Ministry of Green Economy and Environment’s acting Forest Director, Dr. Fredie Siangulube, and Principal Forest Officer, Mr. Stephen Katongo, toured the Forestry Department exhibition at the recently concluded 60th Zambia International Trade Fair (ZITF) in Ndola, where they appreciated the diverse range of sustainably produced forest products on display.
The exhibition showcased the potential of Zambia’s forest resources to drive green economic growth, create sustainable livelihoods, promote value addition, and strengthen climate resilience.
It also highlighted the Forestry Department’s commitment to sustainable forest management and the conservation of the country’s natural resources.
