Empowering Women Through Sustainable Livelihoods

The World Bank delegation visited Titandizeni Multipurpose Cooperative in Mambwe District, which previously benefited from support under the Zambia Integrated Forest Landscape Programme (ZIFLP), now transitioning into EP-JSLP interventions.

The cooperative is producing sunflower cooking oil as part of efforts to promote agricultural value chains, value addition, and improved household incomes for local communities.

“It is encouraging to see farmers adopting Climate-Smart Agriculture technologies and improving productivity under the guidance of the project,” said World Bank Group Senior Climate Change Specialist and Co-Task Team Leader Joseph Dickman.
