The Public Private Dialogue Forum -PPDF- has proposed the establishment of a Zambia-Malawi Communicators Network to promote the sharing of best practices, and improve coordination in communicating development outcomes across the two countries.
.
PPDF Deputy Director General Jacqueline Chishimba says the proposed network bringing together communication professionals from government institutions, project implementation units, and development agencies would help sustain collaboration between the two c

Ms. Chishimba was speaking during the closing ceremony of the World Bank Group Strategic Communications Capacity Building Workshop in Lilongwe, Malawi
The three-day workshop brought together communication specialists and project implementation teams from Zambia and Malawi, creating a platform for regional cooperation, peer learning, and the exchange of ideas.
She praised the World Bank Group Communications and External Relations Team for organising the workshop, which focused on strengthening skills in stakeholder engagement, crisis communication, media relations, results storytelling, and reputational risk mana
ement.
Ms. Chishimba noted that the knowledge gained from the training would help strengthen PPDF’s communication and stakeholder engagement strategies, particularly in communicating policy reforms, investment climate improvements, and private sector development initiatives.
