Community Emissions Reduction Coordination Committee-CERCC Members Officially Endorsed by Chief Maguya

Following the objective of strengthening chiefdom-level governance structures under the Eastern Province Jurisdictional Sustainable Landscape Programme-EP-JSLP to support effective implementation of jurisdictional emissions reduction activities, successful elections for the Community Emissions Reduction Coordination Committee-CERCC were conducted and the elected members were formally presented to His Royal Highness Chief Maguya.

The Chief officially endorsed the committee in line with customary governance structures, confirming their legitimacy and readiness to support programme delivery.

This endorsement marks a key milestone in advancing the EP-JSLP programme through strengthened community participation and local leadership.
