More Traditional Leaders Visited by EP-JSLP
The Eastern Province Jurisdictional Sustainable Landscape Program-EP-JSLP is deepening collaboration with traditional leadership, following a courtesy call on Her Royal Highness Chieftainess Mwanjabanthu of the Nsenga people at her palace today in Petauke District.
Led by Senior Forestry Technologist for Chadiza District, Adelia Malenga, the delegation engaged the traditional leadership as part of ongoing efforts to roll out Chiefdom Emissions Reduction Coordinating Committees-CERCCs and support the development of Chiefdom Emissions Reduction Performance Plans-CERPPs across participating chiefdoms.
The initiative highlights the vital role of traditional leaders in driving community-led climate action and sustainable land management.
